Lethbridge College President Tracy Edwards received an invitation from Stockwell Day,
Minister of International Trade and the Asia-Pacific Gateway, to join a Federal Trade Mission to Russia in advance of the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.
About 40 delegates from across Canada attended…mostly company presidents and vice-presidents. Lethbridge College was the only post-secondary institution invited to participate; they are looking for our expertise in potentially helping them plan a “green” Olympics, do event management, focus on alternative energy strategies, and culinary training.
