Be ready to learn from the land.

This foundational one-year certificate program combines classroom and land-based learning practices to identify and explore the A’paitsitapi, also known as Weasel People or Blood Tribe. Blackfoot culture views weasels as the mark of a leader or a strong knowledge keeper. Learn unique knowledge from experts in Blackfoot traditions and heritage, and take advantage of opportunities that broaden your understanding of Blackfoot culture and relationships.
