General Admissions Requirements
All applicants must meet the general admission requirements for Lethbridge Polytechnic programs.
Academic Requirements
- a minimum grade of 50 per cent in Math 30-1 or 60 percent in Math 30-2 or equivalent
- Physics 20 or Science 30* or equivalent
*Biology 30 and/or Chemistry 30 will not be accepted in lieu of Science 30
Basic understanding of computer technology such as word processing, file copying and familiarity working in a Windows-based environment are required.
Note: Effective for the 2027-2028 academic year, applicants will be required to meet the following admissions requirements:
- English 30-1 or 30-2 or equivalent
- Math 30-1 (50 per cent minimum) or 30-2 (60 per cent minimum) or equivalent
- Physics 20 or Science 30 or equivalent
- Demonstrate English language proficiency
Upon successful completion of all program requirements, students are awarded an Engineering Design Technology diploma.
