Lethbridge Polytechnic is gearing up for one of southern Alberta’s favourite back-to-school events – Coulee Fest!

Supported by signature sponsors, 1st Choice Savings and Credit Union and WESTCO Construction, Coulee Fest runs 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday on the polytechnic’s east lawn.

“Coulee Fest is a great way to celebrate bringing people together,” says Stephanie Savage, manager, Alumni and Community Engagement. “So, invite your friends and family and come hang out with the polytechnic community on Saturday!”

Coulee Fest attendees can expect:

  • Live entertainment from local talent that will cater to every musical taste and mood
  • The Hey Dough Cookie Co. Market where local artisans and creators unite to offer an unparalleled market experience
  • A food lovers paradise in the food truck zone
  • Adrenaline-pumping monster truck rides
  • A petting zoo and animal education throughout the day
  • A Big Truck Zone
  • And more!

“Start the day with a family-friendly variety show, tour the festivities and enjoy local musicians, then wrap it up with Alberta’s own Ten02,” says Savage. “Fresh off their third U.S. tour, our Coulee Fest headliners bring melodic vocals, rock-inspired guitar and hits like Cherry Sunrise and Français for a high-energy finale everyone is sure to enjoy.”

Whether you’re a student, alumni, neighbour or first-time visitor, there’s something for everyone at Coulee Fest.

Special thanks to all local businesses and organizations which sponsored Coulee Fest this year for the enjoyment of our community.
