Prospective students are invited to attend Fall Open House at Lethbridge College, where they can explore campus, check out some of the more than 60 certificate, diploma, degree and apprenticeship programs offered, meet expert instructors and more.
Open House is free to attend between 1 and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, but interested students are asked to register in advance for the chance to win one of three great prizes including a Nintendo Switch Lite, an e-scooter and a $100 Mastercard gift card. Individuals who encourage friends to join them at Open House can also be entered to win one of five $100 Gas King gift cards with the refer-a-friend prize draw.
In addition, those who attend and would like to apply to the college will have the $100 application fee reduced by 50 per cent.
A free meal will be served between 5 and 7 p.m. near the Food Court, courtesy of the college’s Culinary Arts program.
“Open House makes it easier for potential students to begin their post-secondary journey,” says Marko Hilgersom, Registrar. “They can come and see what we offer, and perhaps find a program that aligns with their interests or even sparks a new interest. It’s a great event for anyone who is considering attending Lethbridge College.”

- Pathway to Public Safety Networking Day – Prospective students who have an interest in public safety can also attend the Pathway to Public Safety Networking Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, in the Instructional Building on the east side of campus. School of Justice Studies instructors and industry partners including police services from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the RCMP, Federal Corrections, Provincial Corrections, police dispatching agencies, and other justice-related organizations, will be available to speak with attendees.
- Surveying and Geospatial Engineering Technology Networking and Discovery Day – Prospective students who are interested in data-driven engineering can also attend the Surveying and Geospatial Engineering Technology Networking and Discovery Day from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Nov. 3, in the Trades, Technologies and Innovation Facility on the south end of campus. They’ll be able to meet successful grads from the college’s Engineering Technologies programs and industry professionals, market themselves for current and future recruitment opportunities, and get advice and support on getting hired.
