Lethbridge College is celebrating Spring Convocation with two ceremonies on Friday, May 26. The first begins at 10 a.m. and the second will get underway at 2 p.m. in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium.
About 800 students are receiving degrees, diplomas or certificates from the college this month, and approximately 500 of them are expected to cross the stage on Friday. These students have come to Lethbridge College from across the city, the province, the country and the world – including more than 120 international students from a dozen different countries, as well as those who have learned online.
The morning ceremony will include a formal recognition of Dave Jackson as the honorary degree recipient, while the afternoon ceremony will highlight the accomplishments of Michael Kindley, the college’s Spring 2023 valedictorian.
Each ceremony will also be livestreamed at lethpolytech.ca/convocation.
