Lethbridge College’s Open House is a one-stop resource for those interested in taking the next step in their educational journey. This year’s event takes place both on-campus and online on Thursday, Oct. 28, providing future learners multiple informative, interactive and safe opportunities to learn about all Lethbridge College offers.

The on-campus event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium, Centre Core and The Cave. All in-person attendees must provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours of the event through the LC Alert app or webpage.

The virtual online event features live interviews or group Zoom sessions with program areas between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Other virtual resources are also available at explorelc.ca.

“We are excited to provide our future students with the opportunity to explore everything Lethbridge College has to offer in a safe format, whether they want to attend in person or online,” says Deanna Gonnelly, Student Success and Advising Manager. “We've adapted our event to make it as accessible as possible for all prospective students.”

Each of Lethbridge College’s more than 60 degree, diploma, certificate and apprenticeship programs will be represented during the Open House, and both in-person and virtual attendees will have the chance to speak directly to recruiters and faculty members from their areas of interest.

Participants will get the chance to explore all that is available to them as a Lethbridge College student, meeting with representatives from campus and student services, Indigenous and international services, athletics and student clubs, and more. They can also learn more about academic and financial supports for students.

While Open House is free to attend, attendees are encouraged to register online to be entered into a draw to win one of three $500 tuition credits. Registration is open now at explorelc.ca.

Learn more and register for Open House on the Lethbridge College website.
