Anyone interested in pursuing their post-secondary education is invited to Lethbridge College’s Virtual Open House. Taking the place of the annual in-person Open House, the Virtual Open House will provide prospective students with live Zoom sessions where they can connect with college faculty and staff in an interactive setting that showcases all of the college’s offerings – virtually.

Virtual Open House runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

“We want to bring the Lethbridge College experience right to prospective students, no matter where they are,” says Nancy Russell, Dean of Student Affairs. “Whether you know exactly what program you want to take, or if you are just curious about new opportunities, Virtual Open House is the place to start. This is a new and innovative way of connecting with future students that I think will be really beneficial for them.”

Those attending Virtual Open House can plan in advance by reviewing all available sessions at explorelc.ca and scheduling what works best for them. Prospective students can learn more from each of Lethbridge College’s academic areas, representing more than 65 certificate, diploma, applied degree, pre-employment and apprenticeship programs. The free event also includes sessions with all of the college’s academic programs as well as student supports and services.

Open House makes it easier for potential students to begin their educational journey, as the $100 application fee will be waived for anyone who applies during the Virtual Open House (between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.) to an available program with a 2021 intake. As well, anyone who registers for and attends Open House will be entered into a draw to win a $1,500 tuition credit.

Prospective students can visit explorelc.ca to take a virtual tour, speak with a recruiter or learn more about living in residence – either before or during the Virtual Open House.

Learn more, register and join in Virtual Open House on Oct. 21 by visiting explorelc.ca.
