Winter term begins

Welcome back, Lethbridge College students. The winter term begins today.


Tuesday, Jan. 8, 10 to 10:50 a.m.

New workshop for students new to post-secondary

The Learning Café, Lethbridge College’s learning assistance centre, has added a new workshop to its extensive program offerings. Understanding College Classrooms is for students who are new to post-secondary and who want to know more about the unspoken expectations of college classrooms. It will be offered again at 1 p.m., Jan. 24.

Men’s volleyball Kodiaks look to continue winning ways

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks volleyball teams have their first home appearance of 2019 against Highway 3 rivals, Medicine Hat Rattlers. The women’s game begins at 6 p.m., the men at 8 p.m. in Val Matteotti Gymnasium. The men were undefeated in the fall semester and are looking to carry on their winning ways. Admission is free to college students, $8 for adults, $5 for seniors, youth and alumni, and $3 for college staff.

Kodiaks basketball action at home

Lethbridge College Kodiaks basketball men and women will play host to St. Mary’s University in Val Matteotti Gymnasium. Catch the women’s game at 6 p.m., with the men’s game at 8 p.m. Admission is free to college students, $8 for adults, $5 for seniors, youth and alumni, and $3 for college staff.
