High school administrators come to college
Lethbridge College Recruitment Services will hold a High School Administrators Luncheon in the Garden Court Restaurant. This annual event is an opportunity for our partners in local high schools to learn about Lethbridge College programs and services as they help their students take the next step in their own educational journey.

Inaugural symposium celebrates student research
Lethbridge College students will share their applied research projects with oral and poster presentations at the inaugural Student Research Symposium. Visit the Instructional Building Theatre and Commons to meet with students who engaged in research this year. Light refreshments will be served.

Stop by a lunch buffet made by Culinary students
Lethbridge College’s Garden Court Restaurant offers lunch buffets for three weeks in April, starting this week. Each week has a different theme. For $17.59 per person, diners this week will be treated to Eastern European cuisine. You have to reserve your space by calling 403-320-3230 or by visiting the Garden Court Facebook Page.

College welcomes speaker David Frum
David Frum, a writer at The Atlantic, author of Trumpocracy: The Corruption of the American Republic and former speech writer to U.S. President George W. Bush will speak on The Rise of Populism. This is the inaugural event in Lethbridge College’s “Wider Horizons: An evening with…” speaker series, which will bring world-renowned speakers to campus to engage the community and provide opportunities for thoughtful dialogue on issues important to our students and community. A generous donation from Lethbridge philanthropist Bruce McKillop led to the creation of this speaker series. Doors open at 6 p.m. for rush seating. The speaker starts at 7 p.m., and a mix and mingle is planned from 8:30 to 9 p.m. Further details of media availability will be released on Tuesday.

Watch for our road runners today
The Kodiaks 10/4 Road Race, Lethbridge’s oldest ongoing running event, will move to an all-new river-bottom course this year. What hasn’t changed is that this 46th annual event supports the Lethbridge Kodiaks cross country and indoor track teams. Runners can challenge themselves against Alberta’s top runners in the 10-mile race, or focus on having fun in the family-friendly four-mile route. The 10-mile race starts at 9 a.m., with the four-mile race following at 9:20 a.m. from the Helen Schuler Nature Centre.

Goats and yoga, what a beautiful combination
The Lethbridge College Students’ Association will offer goat yoga in the green space along the east side of campus (between the Andrews and Technologies buildings). Look for baby goats to be prancing along to participants’ yoga moves.
