LC-Fall-Open-House.jpg With more than 50 in-demand programs that lead to exciting careers, there is something for everyone at Lethbridge College. Be ready to take that next step by attending the college’s Fall Open House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium.

The free event puts all of the college’s academic programs and student supports and services in one convenient location to make it a one-stop shop for potential students. This year’s Open House has a very interactive feel, as many of the programs are setting up hands-on displays or tours that really give a sense of what students experience once they’re in the program.

“Anyone who comes to Open House is going to get to see things that they wouldn't on a regular day, so it's a really special time to just come and see what we have,” says Jessica Quarterman, Recruitment and Events coordinator. “It's a really exciting opportunity for anybody who's considering becoming a Lethbridge College student in the next couple of years. They can come and check out the displays, and maybe their interests will align with a program and they can take the next step towards their future.”

Open House makes it easier for potential students to begin their educational journey, as the $90 application fee will be waived for anyone who applies to an available program with a 2020 intake on-the-spot. As well, anyone who registers for and attends Open House will be entered into a draw to win a $1,500 tuition credit.

Visitors can speak one-on-one with instructors, tour campus, take part in information sessions and learn about all of the college’s student services – ranging from academics to financial to Indigenous and international services to athletics and more.

Learn more and register for Fall Open House on the Lethbridge College website.
