LC-Coulee-Fest-Chinook-Cream-Ale.jpg Foodies, beer lovers and everyone in between will find something to tickle their taste buds at Coulee Fest. The annual free festival begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Lethbridge College.

For the third-straight year, the college has partnered with Coulee Brew for a Coulee Fest signature beer. Chinook Cream Ale is a cold, refreshing beer that's as unique and comforting as the warm wind it's named after. It’s available only at Coulee Fest, in the expanded beer gardens – an area in the heart of the festival that offers a great view of the Brighter Together stage.

The beer gardens are open throughout the entire festival, from 1 to 7 p.m. New this year is Kodiaks Hour, a celebration beginning at 5 p.m. that will feature drink specials and the chance to win prizes, while featuring the music of the Nova Scotiables – a Celtic party band sure to get your feet moving.

Food lovers will have plenty of options as 16 food trucks will be serving at Coulee Fest. From decadent desserts to magnificent meals to scrumptious snacks to creative coffees, there is something for everyone of all ages.

LC-Coulee-Fest-Food-Trucks.jpg Food trucks coming to Coulee Fest include: Churros Anyone; Cupper’s Coffee and Tea; Di’s Diner; Kona Ice; Luke’s Ice Cream; Ma and Pa’s BBQ; Mr. Pretzels; Pan to Fire; Patters Perogies, Poutine and Pies; Piggy Back Poutinerie; Pip-Pip’s Concession; Pita Pit; Stoketown Café and Cure; Swirls Ice Cream; Tacos del Oso Muerto; and West Winds Kettle Corn.

Food trucks will be available and serving throughout the entire day, from 1 to 7 p.m.

The third annual Coulee Fest is a free family festival that features live music, interactive program showcases, 16 food trucks, family fun areas, What the Junk vintage market and a beer gardens. Coulee Fest runs from 1 to 7 p.m. on Lethbridge College’s east lawn, concluding with a headlining concert from award-winning singer-songwriter Leeroy Stagger on the Brighter Together Stage at 6 p.m.
