Tuesday, Oct. 16 to Friday, Oct. 19
Join us in raising awareness of sexual violence
Lethbridge College will hold a series of activities to raise awareness of sexual violence, including a public showing of an award-winning documentary about sexual assault on American colleges. Here’s what’s planned:

  • Healthy Relationship Resource Fair - 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday in Centre Core. Eleven internal and external support services that either work to support healthy relationships or support individuals and families who have experienced violence will be represented. This is an opportunity to network and learn about our community services. The fair is open to employees, students and the public. Students and college employees will receive a passport with the expectation they’ll connect with at least six services before entering to win one of three grand prizes.
  • Graffiti wall to share the conversation of “Now What,” - all week starting Tuesday. In response to the #MeToo and #IBelieveYou movements, we invite members of the college community to write messages about #NowWhat. People can share what positive changes they’ve seen as a result of the #IBelieveYou campaign.
  • The Hunting Ground documentary screening - 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in E.C. Fredericks Theatre (CE1365). The public is welcome to join students and staff at a showing of this 2015 documentary film about the prevalence of sexual assault on post-secondary campuses and how a group of women championed change in the way U.S. post-secondary institutions support individuals who experience sexual violence and the prevention of sexual violence.
    • Expert Panel Discussion - 7 to 7:30 p.m Tuesday. Following The Hunting Ground screening Experts from both domestic and sexual violence services will be answering any questions the audience may have and will facilitate a dialogue to increase awareness about these topics.

Tuesday, Oct. 16 through Thursday, Oct. 18, 5 to 8 p.m.

Wrap up your evening with the Chef’s Feature crème brulee. Those are just a sample from the amazing menu. To make a reservation, contact 403-320-3230.
