Lethbridge College is now approved to receive funding through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. (NSERC) College researchers, student and faculty will be able to apply for the Idea to Innovation Program and as co-applicants in collaboration with university faculty on research project grant programs. In addition Lethbridge College will be eligible for institutional programs such as the College and Community Innovation program.
“NSERC eligibility provides our students and faculty with additional possibilities to enhance their knowledge and expand their scientific perspective,” says President Tracy Edwards. “The potential to consolidate our relationships and partnerships with community-based businesses is stronger than ever with this funding eligibility.”
