As part of our transition to Lethbridge Polytechnic, we are updating email addresses for all of our employees and students on Aug. 1. This change will allow users to sign into Office365 and other related systems using the new domain of @lethpolytech.ca.
What You Need to Know:
Applying a massive change like this to thousands of accounts will take some time. We plan to start the work after business hours on July 31 with the hope that it will be done before 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 1. Starting Aug. 1:
- Log in using your polytech email (@lethpolytech.ca).
- If you get a login error, it means your account has not yet been converted. Try logging in with your former Lethbridge College email (@lethbridgecollege.ca).
- If you are logged in using your @lethbridgecollege.ca email account when the conversion takes place, you may start to see errors occur. If that happens, please log out and log back in with your @lethpolytech.ca email address.
- No other changes to your email will occur. You will not lose any emails or calendar appointments.

We also have a video guide for students.
Automatic Redirection
Emails sent to your lethbridgecollege.ca address will be automatically redirected to your new address for the foreseeable future. Once you have access to your @lethpolytech.ca account, you will have no need or ability to return to @lethbridgecollege.ca.
Your password
You will use your existing password to access your email. The only change will be the email address itself.
What should I do?
If your @lethpolytech.ca login fails on or after Aug. 1, please try logging in with @lethbridgecollege.ca before contacting the Help Desk.
