Lethbridge Polytechnic offers a Selfie ID service for all student IDs. Whether you’re a new student getting your first ID or need to update your card, you will submit your digital photo and we will let you know when your ID card has been created. Just follow the steps below.
How to request an ID card:
- Log into myPolytech
- Click the Student ID tile
- Fill in your information
- Select your ID type – Apprentice or Post-Secondary Student

Most students only require a digital ID card, accessible in myPolytech. If you would like a physical ID card, you can request one for $10.
Specialized access cards or badges are required for certain programs and are not the same as a physical student ID card; these badges and access cards will be provided by Facilities or the placement office at no extra cost. Replacement cards/badges are subject to a $10 fee.
Staff ID cards can be requested through the Facilities Office request form.
