A Recreation Services membership at Lethbridge Polytechnic can be the first step towards your health and fitness goals or a continuation of your wellness journey.

Your membership provides access to:

  • Fitness Centre
  • squash/racquetball courts
  • gymnasiums (during open recreation times)
  • steam room


Family rates are available. A minimum of three members living in the same residence is required. If memberships are purchased on the same day for the same duration, you’ll receive a 15 per cent discount (polytechnic students not included). Youth consent forms must be signed for anyone 17 and younger.

The fine print

*Staff and faculty payroll deductions are available for annual membership and locker (staff may qualify for membership benefit).

**Children 13 and under must be accompanied by a paid adult.

***Youth 14 to 17 must have signed consent forms.

Recreation Services operates on a user fee system. The user groups have been classified as follows:

  • Lethbridge Polytechnic students
    • Anyone registered in a credit course or a full-time program.
  • Lethbridge Polytechnic employee
    • Any staff member receiving a cheque through the Lethbridge Polytechnic Payroll System.
  • Lethbridge Polytechnic alumni/associate staff
    • Anyone who is registered with the Alumni Office, has an alumni card or is a former employee.
  • Community
    • Anyone not described above.

Lockers

A membership is required to use a locker. There is a two-week grace period after expiry for renewal or cleanout. Your locker content is kept a minimum of 30 days after expiry.
