If someone is experiencing an emergency (safety, security, medical), you should:
- call 911 (9-911 from polytechnic phones)
- call Health and Counselling Services at 403-320-3289
- call Security 403-320-3206
If someone has been sexually assaulted, refer to the sexual violence support page for information on how to help.

How Health Services and Security will respond
Between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, Health Services can be contacted to respond to a medical emergency or mental health crisis on campus. We will respond and provide first aid until EMS arrives.
Campus Security is available 24/7 and will send a security officer immediately to provide assistance or direction to responding EMS personnel.
