Lethbridge Polytechnic offers competitive salaries for our people.

Salary grids

Faculty
AUPE
Admin/Excluded

Grid Placements

Faculty – All new continuing, probationary, continuing part-time and Term Certain employees will be placed on the appropriate salary grid, based on their academic training and experience. Faculty receive one (1) vertical merit increment on the grid, if eligible, each July 1 until the maximum vertical placement for their training category is reached.

AUPE – Appointments will generally be made at the first step of the salary range attached to the class level of the position. AUPE receive merit increments every July 1, as applicable.

Admin/Excluded – All new employees in this employee group are placed on the Pay Band according to the position classification. The starting salary range will be between 0.85 – mid-point. Admin/Excluded are eligible for a merit increment annually each July 1.
