At Lethbridge Polytechnic, we are proud to support the innovative research projects conducted by our students across various programs.
Typically completed in their final year, these projects allow students to develop their own research questions, conduct analysis, and present their findings (all of which are showcased at our annual Student Research Symposiums).
This section provides a snapshot of the outstanding research, partnerships, and achievements, along with testimonials and insights from students, alumni, industry partners, faculty, and mentors.
We invite you to explore the remarkable work of our students and the partnerships that make this research possible.

Symposiums
We believe that research is an essential part of learning. Our project-driven courses encourage students to explore, innovate, and solve real-world challenges through hands-on research.
Every year, students from various programs present their research projects and findings at our Student Research Symposium, a highlight of their academic journey. Whether working toward a Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or other credentials, students develop critical skills through these projects—asking meaningful questions, conducting rigorous analysis, and delivering professional presentations.
The Student Research Symposium is more than an academic event; it's a celebration of student achievement and a platform for sharing knowledge. Open to the public, the symposium allows family, friends, industry partners, and the wider community to join us in recognizing the hard work and innovation of our students. Held annually at Lethbridge Polytechnic, symposium dates vary depending on the program.
Stay tuned for updates on upcoming symposiums—we invite you to join us in celebrating the remarkable achievements of our students!
