In addition to acting as the portal through which external partners can access applied research opportunities, the Centre for Applied Research and Innovation (CARI) team can work with you to:
- identify and assess applied research opportunities
- assist with research proposal development and funding
- access the polytechnic’s expertise and infrastructure
- coordinate and facilitate projects with external partners
- manage intellectual property
- enable knowledge/technology transfer and commercialization
- manage and administer applied research grants and contracts
- network and develop business opportunities
- initiate and operate applied research pilot projects
