Parking
Free parking is available on Convocation Day. Please park only in designated parking lots. Parking on roadways, fire lanes, or non-designated areas may still result in a ticket.

Seating
Doors will open for guests 1 hour prior to the start of the ceremony on a first come, first served basis. Please try and limit number of guests to 6.
No tickets are required.
Out of respect for graduates and guests, late arrivals may not be admitted to the gymnasium once the ceremony is underway.
Food and Drink
Food and drinks (excluding water) are NOT permitted inside the gym. We encourage you to eat beforehand.
Respectful Seating Etiquette During the Ceremony
We kindly ask all guests to remain seated as much as possible throughout the ceremony to ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience for everyone. While we understand that occasional bathroom breaks may be necessary, frequent movement in and out of the gym can be disruptive to others. Please plan ahead, as guests who leave the venue may not be allowed back inside. Thank you for your cooperation in making this event special for our convocates and their guests.
Bringing Small Children?
Worried your small children may become fussy or active during the ceremony? A live feed will be set up in the CAVE (follow signage) so you don't have to miss a minute.
Available Services on Convocation Day
Tim Hortons - Located near the CAVE. Food and drinks (except water) will not be allowed in the gym.
Bookstore - The Polytechnic Bookstore will be open from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. to purchase Polytechnic swag and memorabilia.
Convocate Portraits - In addition to the photo taken by Emmerson Reyes Photography of each Convocate after they cross the stage, Lifetouch Photography will be offering walk-up portrait service immediately after the ceremonies. First come-first served, no bookings required.
