Tyson Kwasney is a lawyer and community volunteer with a strong commitment to public service and post-secondary education. Born and raised in Alberta, he grew up in Calgary before moving to Lethbridge, where he and his wife have put down roots and are raising their family. He is a partner at Stringam Law, where he practises primarily in business and corporate law.

Kwasney holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alberta and earned his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, B.C. He brings professional experience in governance, financing, real estateand strategic decision-making, along with a strong interest in supporting the long-term success of southern Alberta’s post-secondary institutions.

An active community member, Kwasney currently serves on the boards of the Lethbridge Sport Council and the Southern Alberta Ethnic Association. He also volunteers extensively through youth sports coaching and church-based initiatives. In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his family and staying active through outdoor recreation, including camping, golf and basketball.
