Preston Scholz was appointed as a public member of the Lethbridge Polytechnic Board of Governors for a three-year term in June 2024.
A proud alumni, Scholz graduated from Lethbridge Polytechnic’s Business Administration program in 2005. He was also President of the student’s association from 2003 to 2005. He has worked at ATB Financial since graduating in 2005 and currently holds the role of Director, Portfolio Management and Virtual Sales. Scholz gained his Certified Treasury Professional designation in 2022.
Scholz is a huge advocate of the skills the polytechnic provided him in building a successful career. He is also passionate about fundraising and has made contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, Parkinson’s Association and Children’s Hospital.
Scholz loves spending time with family and friends, decorating for Christmas and crocheting in his spare time. He lives in Coaldale with his husband, Thomas Van Ryn, and their three dogs.
