Janene Moch was appointed to the Lethbridge College Board of Governors for a one-year term beginning in March 2021 and re-appointed to a two-year term in March 2022. A partner at MNP LLP, Moch is a designated Chartered Professional Accountant who received a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge in 1991 and a master’s degree in Forensic Accounting from the University of Toronto in 2020. She has also taught Business Finance at Lethbridge College and instructed with the Institute of Chartered Accountants’ CA School of Business.

With 30 years of accounting experience, Moch specializes in helping small- and mid-sized owner-managed businesses and professional offices proactively manage their operations and plan for the future. Another aspect of her work includes working with clients, legal counsel and, when necessary, the authorities to provide a range of forensic services, including fraud prevention or investigation, internal control consulting and litigation support. Moch also assists clients with contract dispute resolution, regulatory compliance as well as guideline income and matrimonial property calculations.

Moch has extensive board experience, including with Economic Development Lethbridge, YWCA Lethbridge, Alberta Council of Women’s Shelters, 1st Choice Savings and Credit Union, and Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association. She enjoys spending time with her two children, Brooklyn and Brett, and husband, Troy, and is most likely found riding her horse or running the coulees with her dog.
