Coral Skiba recently graduated from the University of Lethbridge with degrees in management and science. She also served as a students’ union representative and as board president of The Meliorist, the university’s independent student newspaper. Skiba also spent one year as an international exchange student in Austria, which sparked her newfound passion for language learning.
Skiba was raised on a family farm south of Lethbridge and grew up working through 4-H, spending her free time on various hobbies such as archery and photography. Skiba is proud to have learned the value of hard work at a young age – a practice of learning to do by doing.
Skiba is following in the footsteps of family at Lethbridge Polytechnic – her father is an alumnus, and her grandmother is a former employee. She looks forward to giving back to her community and working to support students through their own post-secondary journeys.
