Scott Gillespie

Scott Gillespie (M.Sc., P.Ag, CCA) is a sessional instructor teaching courses in Precision Agriculture. He brings nearly two decades of agronomy experience in dryland and irrigated specialty crop systems across organic, conventional, and regenerative operations. As the founder of Plants Dig Soil Consulting Ltd., Scott provides independent, advice-only agronomy services, supporting producers with practical, science-based strategies for crop management and soil stewardship. His applied expertise is complemented by his outreach work as host of the Plants Dig Soil podcast and as author of Practical Regeneration: Realistic Strategies for Climate-Smart Agriculture.
