Summary
I joined Lethbridge Polytechnic as a sociology instructor and researcher in 2019. Since then, I’ve taught courses introducing students to sociological perspectives on topics ranging from family and aging to urban life. My aim is to help students develop the critical thinking and analytical skills necessary to understand the social forces shaping their lives.
I hold a B.A. and M.A. in sociology from the University of Lethbridge and a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Alberta. Much of my research revolves around an interest in the politics of space, with recent work examining how local food initiatives are being integrated into cities.
